Winter College Tours 2017
Winter College Tours offers a complete accelerated American academic and cultural experience that enriches cultural competence and communication among global-minded students. Our curriculum emphasizes academic preparedness, develops leadership skills, and provides hands-on experience as students experience some of the world’s most prestigious academic institutions, embrace cross-cultural exchanges of ideas, improve English language skills, and better understand American culture.
Accelerated Academic & Cultural Immersion
Each part of this Young World Leaders program focuses on developing a specific set of skills to foster and enrich our students’ capabilities as a global leader.
College Intensive Track
Winter College Tours offers a College Intensive track for international students who would like to emphasize visiting and touring colleges and universities in lieu of participating in certain cultural trips*. Students who have chosen to enroll in the College Intensive track will have the opportunity to tour other colleges and universities in addition to the schools visited in our standard program. Schools visited may include the College of William and Mary, University of Virginia, University of North Carolina, Duke University, Virginia Tech, George Washington University, American University, and George Mason.
*Note: Due to scheduling conflicts, students enrolled in this track will not be able to attend cultural trips to the National Aquarium, the National Gallery, and will spend one less day shadowing American high school students.
